I’m a Certified Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and I specialize in one thing: taking a messy QuickBooks file and turning it into something you can actually trust. Do you work with any accounting software besides QuickBooks Online?
No, I work exclusively in QuickBooks Online. If you’re currently using something else, or nothing at all, moving your data into a fresh QBO file is simply the first step of your cleanup, not a separate project.
How long does a cleanup take?
It depends on how far behind the books are, but most cleanups are completed within 5 to 10 business days. More complex files, multiple accounts or a longer backlog, can take a bit longer.
What do you need from me to get started?
Read only access to your QuickBooks Online file, plus your bank and credit card statements for the period we’re cleaning up. I’ll send a simple checklist once we start.
Do I need a cleanup before starting monthly maintenance?
Only if your books are currently a mess/not up to date. If they’re already reconciled and up to date, we can start monthly maintenance right away.
How is monthly maintenance different from a cleanup?
A cleanup fixes what’s already gone wrong; monthly maintenance is what keeps it from happening again. You’ll receive ongoing reconciliation and categorization every single month, so you never end up needing another cleanup.
When do I get my monthly report?
By the 15th of the following month, once your prior month’s accounts are reconciled.
Do you offer tax preparation?
No, my focus is protecting and maintaining the books you’ve already built, through cleanup and ongoing monthly maintenance.
